In Earthmoving Machines, pistons are used to manage the oil within the hydraulic system. Each piston is equipped with a Control Valve, a valve that determines the pumping of oil into the system.
If the piston is leaking oil, it is usually sufficient to change the seals. Pistons that have cracks, trauma or other defects, on the other hand, should be replaced completely.
